World Food Trip in Blieskastel

Today we went from Saarbrücken to Blieskastel to buy food at World Food Trip. In fact, we were completely disappointed. Already started when entering the restaurant and the listless looks that were thrown at 5:00 p.m. without any greeting. Despite the fact that, according to the website and Google, the restaurant opened at 4.30 p.m., the grill plates were not heated, so we were given a waiting time of 20 minutes for all dishes that contain meat substitutes. Defacto we only had the choice between 2 dishes: Imka reloaded and oriental wraps. OK, we are flexible and opt for 2 imka plus fries and sauce. 1. Wraps: The sweet potato fries were not fried and made a sweet potato paste. More like a puree than french fries. The wrap was super dry as there was hardly any sauce in it. Tasted like bread, lettuce and sweet potato puree. 2. French fries: The fries were carried 10 meters into the car and opened. If there is no more space in the package, you shouldn't necessarily squeeze in the sauces. The sauce had leaked everywhere. Résumé: Just as we were received on this day, we saw and tasted our food. If you don't feel like eating out, you shouldn't work in a restaurant either. Unfortunately, the service and product quality has suffered badly recently. Especially in the current time you should be happy about every customer and make an effort. We have been very good customers for years and have left a lot of money with you. I doubt whether we will continue to do this.

The portions of french fries and sweet potatoes have halved within a year, while prices have remained the same. Sometimes the small box isn't even half full and the sauce is missing. An impudence.

Corona may have exacerbated it, but the trend could already be recognized beforehand. The attention to detail was lost. The price level has risen, everything else has not developed accordingly ... I was actually a fan!

Best food in the Saarland! The servers could be a little more polite, but that's typical in Germany.

As a histamine intolerant, I can usually only eat "outside" if I can make small or large adjustments to the menus on offer (e.g. omit dressing or instead of one vegetable a little more of the other). Since I have had to eat like this, I have been more than surprised by a really wide range of food providers at how responsive and warm they are to my wishes. World food Trip showed me for the first time that there is another way. With a bowl, it was impossible for the employee to add a little more of one ingredient and omit the other because that would ultimately change the recipe. It was only grudgingly realized that I can't eat falafel (after all, they are part of the overall picture). The end of the song was that I had a bowl that I could eat 1/6. Sorry folks, from a cosmopolitan restaurant, I expect people with allergies to be accommodating. Your customer orientation really failed here. The food itself is delicious.

Vegan and delicious.

That's just great! The food is great, the prices are okay. We sat outside under the parasols and it was really nice! Reservation by phone at noon for the same evening went without any problems. Friendly staff and once again really delicious food. Also tastes meat-eaters 😉 will definitely come back!

Very tasty vegan food. The price-performance ratio is okay. Only regional products are used. Not a classic restaurant, as the table is not served, but ordered at the counter. The dishes are always freshly prepared.

I was a big fan of the construction trailer for many years. Food great and varied. Price-performance simply top. But the visits in the past few months have disappointed me severely. The sweet potato fries for 3.80 euros can now be counted. When I asked whether "this should really be a portion", the answer was at least honestly that adjustments were made two months ago. Really a shame.

Very good service, unbeatable meal with great variety of hamburgers and wraps as well as dishes that are constantly changing. Desserts and coffee make you want to repeat.

Cheese citizens + sweet potato fries eaten! Simply bombs delicious. Prices are right too! Drink + Burger + Pommes = 14,50 €. Highly recommended!
